Kickapoo Rail Trail Extension

The Kickapoo Rail Trail Extension is a desired trail to connect Kickapoo State Park to the community of Hillery and downtown Danville, Illinois.  The trail generally is planned to follow the former CSX / Conrail corridor adjacent to US Route 150.

The Kickapoo Rail Trail Extension is intended to become part of the Trails of the Grand Prairie, which will eventually connect Bloomington-Normal, Urbana-Champaign and Danville.
